Job Description
The Plant & Fleet Administrator is responsible for supporting the effective management, compliance, and coordination of all company-owned and hired plant machinery and vehicles across construction sites in Ireland, UK & Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive asset register of all plant, tools, and vehicles.
- Coordinate servicing, preventative maintenance, CVRT/MOT testing, and inspections.
- Track plant location across multiple construction sites.
- Monitor supplier hire reports to ensure accuracy
- Manage hired-in plant documentation and off-hire processes.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and service-related documentation.
- Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and defect reporting.
- Coordinate breakdown assistance and repairs.
- Manage fuel cards and monitor fuel usage.
- Support insurance claims and incident investigations.
This is a full time office-based role.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Knowledge of construction plant and fleet operations
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong IT skills (Excel essential; experience with fleet/asset systems desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-driven environment
- Good communication skills across operational and site teams
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Experience working within construction or civil engineering sector in Ireland
- Strong working knowledge of compliance documentation
