Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager or Associate Director to work with us on healthcare real estate projects in Dublin, Ireland.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, proven leadership in healthcare construction projects, and is a chartered professional. The appointed level (SPM or AD) will depend on experience.
You will act as a key driver of the project, and ensure the successful delivery of healthcare developments. Working closely with the client, design teams, contractors, and internal leadership, you will support all aspects of project governance, planning, execution, and reporting.
Depending on experience, you may also contribute to business development, team leadership, and strategic growth of our real estate offering in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end‑to‑end delivery of a large healthcare construction project, ensuring alignment with client objectives, programme, and budget.
- Support robust project governance, reporting structures, and communication frameworks.
- Facilitate design development, procurement strategies, permitting, and approvals.
- Track project performance, risks, and KPIs, implementing mitigation measures where required.
- Assist technical, progress, and stakeholder meetings; ensure clear documentation and decision tracking.
- Assist with contracts, change control, commercial performance, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide strategic advice at key project stages, including gateway reviews and business case support.
- Build strong relationships with client representatives and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- (Associate Director level) Support business development, contribute to team growth, and play a role in the strategic development of the Ireland real estate business.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years (+5 years preferred) full Professional membership (i.e. chartered) of a recognized professional body - SCSI, RICS, EI, or RIAI is essential. APM membership may be considered at chartered membership (ChPP).
- Healthcare project experience, ideally on complex capital or real estate developments (essential).
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, governance, project controls, and commercial/contractual frameworks. Preference will be given to candidates with GCCC experience.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and client‑facing skills.
- Experience delivering large‑scale real estate or capital projects from inception to completion.
- (For AD level) Experience in business development, team leadership, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.
