Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Stadium and Events Duty Manager to join our dynamic team in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional food service experiences while supporting our catering operations. You'll work alongside a collaborative team to ensure every guest receives outstanding service and attention, contributing to the smooth execution of events and dining experiences.

As Stadium and Events Duty Manager , you will oversee daily operations, health and safety, and event execution within a sports facility. This role involves supervising staff, managing event logistics, ensuring high-quality customer service at scale, and liaising with stakeholders for events ranging from local matches to international competitions and corporate or social gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, preventative maintenance (PPM), and uphold cleaning standards.
- Event Coordination: Plan and deliver events, including pre-event preparation, and post-event evaluation.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, manage risk assessments.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and roster staff.
- Customer Experience & Sales: Handle enquiries and complaints and actively promote facility services.
- Financial Duties: Reconcile cash and assist with budget management.
Qualifications
- Education: Ideal but not essential, a 3rd-level degree in sports management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience: Generally, 1-2 years of experience in facility or event management.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and IT abilities, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
Working Conditions
- Flexibility: Be prepared to work a roster that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Environment: Work in both indoor and outdoor stadium settings.
