What is the role?
The person in this role is responsible for executing strategy, including the implementation of omni-channel campaigns, strategic and tactical marketing plan and product launch into new customer and geographic segments. The role requires a solutions-oriented mindset and outcomes focused approach to support the Global Brand Manager and wider Global Marketing Team in achieving excellence in execution. This role in Aerogen’s Global Marketing Team needs a strategic thinker to collaborate with the full marketing team, company stakeholders and customers to ensure marketing initiatives support the overall strategic vision and company goals.  The role requires the ability to take direction, with the autonomy to take ownership and responsibility to execute effectively under own initiative. 

What are the key responsibilities?
Manage the execution of marketing strategy activities relating to product portfolio worldwide. 
Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Regulatory and other departments.
Assist with development of sales, marketing, digital and educational tools, campaigns, and strategy. 
Own relationships with key stakeholders and 3rd party vendors. 
Develop tactics and identify synergies for demand generation with downstream teams. 
Understand key competitors and their relative strengths and weaknesses. 
Understand customer groups, including why customers buy the product or service. 
Identify critical customer needs and preferences. 
Provide customer feedback to marketing leadership. 
Aid in the construction of the marketing plan. 
Understand basic budget management principles. 
Understand general marketing principles such as segmentation, targeting, and positioning. 
Be subject matter expert for applicable products/product lines and able to field technical questions. 
Support sales training initiatives and programs throughout the year. 
Support the on-label use and promotion of all products. 
Be aware of commonly used internal/external communication goals, tools and formats.

As a Global Marketing Executive, you will be:
Working closely with your line manager to plan and execute projects. 
In frequent interaction via Microsoft Teams with team members located across the Globe. 
Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
Developing an understanding of specific products and portfolios, including the competition. 
Primary research and secondary data analysis. 
Supporting with project management to track and define tasks across functions. 
Other tasks as required to support the company’s goals and marketing objectives and initiatives (these may include development of marketing content, training materials, videos, event planning, meeting planning and communications tasks)

What education and experience are required?
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) – preferably marketing, business/commerce, science or medical/healthcare, but other may be considered if candidate is otherwise appropriate. 
2-5 years’ marketing or communications experience in medical device, pharma, or healthcare segments, respiratory experience preferable. Experience working with multiple internationally based teams. 
Fluent in English as well as ideally in a second language

Organised, with high quality and high detail orientation. 
Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
