Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years experience and specialises in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home supporting multiple therapies:

  • Home Oxygen

  • Nebulisers

  • Ventilations

  • Sleep

We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field based operations team consist of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing and removal.


 

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland consists of 120 employees supporting 24,000 patients nationwide. The supply chain hub is based in Finglas (Dublin), where a dedicated team (including Supply Chain, Sourcing, and 20 Warehouse/Workshop technicians) supports the business.

You will report to the Worldwide HHC Procurement team and you will act as a key stakeholder, collaborating closely with:

1) Procurement (Direct/Indirect, Performance, SR2M&S)
2) Operations (Warehouse, Maintenance, Logistics)
3) Sales & Finance (Accounting, Ops Control)

Key Responsibilities:
The scope covers both direct and indirect spend, with duties including:

- Analyzing supplier performance and managing claims.
- Supporting Category Managers with sourcing, forecasting, and negotiations.
- Drafting RFPs and quotation documents.
- Negotiating commercial terms with local or small-scale suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with internal purchasing procedures.
- Maintaining supplier contracts and tracking procurement savings.
- Collaborating with internal teams on needs assessment and supplier discussions.
- Supporting demand planning and the PO/PR process.
- Assisting the COO and other departments with ad-hoc requests.


 

Procurement Strategy:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with the procurement GBS (ie. category managers), & the business objectives of Air Liquide Healthcare.
  • Identify opportunities to save costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process.

Supplier Management:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure optimal prices and delivery conditions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements where necessary.

Procurement Process:

  • Analyse and propose improvements to the entire procurement process, from creating purchase orders to receiving goods and services.
  • Ensure compliance with Air Liquide's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to gain insight into procurement performance.

Projects:

  • Participate in projects that further promote the optimization of the procurement process.


 

Are you a MATCH?


 

Education:

Engineering or Business School Master’s Degree with a specialization or a first experience in procurement

Soft and Hard Skills:

Must have:

  • Agility to work in a matrix environment with a remotely based manager
  • Ability to work independently with a rigorous, organized methodology; capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
  • A data-driven approach to challenges; able to break down complex issues and propose logical solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to "step into the stakeholder's shoes" to truly understand their needs and constraints.


Nice to have:

  • Open-minded and eager to work within diverse, international teams; adaptable to different cultural business norms.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A curiosity to challenge the status quo and suggest process optimizations (not just executing, but improving).
  • Previous exposure to procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle).
  • Basic knowledge of visualizing data (e.g., Google Looker Studio or Power BI) to present buying insights.
