We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our customer's team in Dublin on a 12-month contract. This role sits within a digital transformation environment and will focus on enabling effective delivery across Agile teams.
The successful candidate will be a confident delivery professional who can embed quickly into an established team, bring structure and momentum to delivery, and operate effectively in an evolving environment where detail continues to emerge.
Please note: this is a hybrid role, requiring 1 day a week onsite at our customers office in North Dublin.
Required skills & qualifications:
- 7+ years' experience in a Delivery Management, Agile Delivery, Project Management or similar roles
- Strong experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven ability to deliver complex initiatives in evolving environments
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, pragmatic and outcomes-focused approach to delivery
- Experience with delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
Key responsibilities & duties include:
Delivery Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of initatives, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and to agreed quality standards
- Embed within delivery teams to support effective planning, execution and transparency
- Define delivery plans, milestones, risks and dependencies in collaboration with stakeholders
- Track progress and provide clear, regular updates on delivery status
Agile Delivery
- Champion Agile ways of working across delivery teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
- Support teams in applying Agile principles in a pragmatic, outcome-focused way
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and ways of working
- Use delivery metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement
- Support teams through change as part of a wider transformation
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with delivery stakeholders
- Manage expectations and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Acts as a key point of contact for delivery-related queries
Risk & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify and manage delivery risks and dependencies
- Define and implement mitigation strategies
- Escalate issues appropriately to support timely resolution
Desirable experience:
- Degree in Business, Project Management or related field
- Project Management and/or Agile certifications
