Semiconductor Test Process Development Engineer
Our team of engineers develops new automation solutions for the testing of semiconductor devices in development labs and production facilities across the world. You will work with product line engineers to develop and implement new solutions for final test processing of semiconductor devices and assemblies, help to streamline and improve existing processes, and define roadmap technologies for future test development.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with product line electrical engineers to develop and implement test solutions to meet product specific test requirements
- Qualify new test processes at internal sites and at test subcontractors located across the globe
- Coordinate process development efforts with a team of test process engineers located in the US, Europe, and Asia
- Define process technology roadmaps with other team members to guide equipment selection for future product development
- Review mechanical designs for interconnect solutions and approve or propose changes
- Design mechanical fixtures for product testing as needed
- Support and investigate quality/yield issues related to device handling, contacting or end of line inspection processes
- Support ADI product development locations in Europe
- Travel in support of process development as required, both domestically and internationally
Requirements
- BS Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Strong computer skills with experience in CAD and the MS Office tools
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Aptitude for project management and ability to handle multiple projects regularly
