Enterprise Portfolio Management Office – Process & Capabilities Team

About the Role

ADI is seeking a hands-on, systems-oriented Product Development Process Lead to join the EPMO Process & Capabilities team. This role will be instrumental defining the future of ADI’s unified product development process, creating an end-to-end framework that improves co-development of hardware, software and system level solutions across the company.

You will lead the effort to harmonize ADI’s diverse development methodologies into a scalable, consistent, and enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle process—enabling efficiency, innovation, and cross-functional alignment. This includes shaping the workflows that will be supported by current and future PLM system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the harmonization of ADI’s product development processes into a single, adaptable framework that supports a broad range of hardware, software, and mixed-domain development efforts.

  • Define and evolve PLM-enabling processes, including BOM management, configuration control, ECN/ECR workflows, design release methodology, and CAD/EDA integration.

  • Establish Process KPIs and create a cross-functional Process Governance structure to maintain integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Define, document, and align future-state cross-organizational workflows, partnering with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and IT.

  • Drive organizational adoption of the unified development process through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ensure the product development process and supporting tools are scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business and engineering needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement using data, metrics, stakeholder feedback, and lessons learned across the portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.

  • 10+ years of experience in product development, systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, or technical program management within the semiconductor or electronics domain.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end product development lifecycle, including multi-domain BOMs, design handoff, configuration management, and design reuse strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish, optimize, or roll out enterprise-level development processes.

  • Strong process orientation, with experience mapping, defining, and improving engineering workflows.

  • Knowledge of Agile, Phase-Gate, or hybrid development models and how they align with PLM and lifecycle stages.

  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication capabilities.

  • Ability to manage complex, competing requirements to drive pragmatic, business-aligned solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hardware–software co-development environments (SoCs, embedded systems, firmware, mixed-signal systems).

  • Hands-on experience with PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, or Arena.

  • Understanding of CAD/EDA tool integration within PLM ecosystems (Cadence, Mentor/Siemens, Altium, etc.).

  • Experience working with ECO/ECN processes, change management boards, or product release governance.

  • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.

  • Exposure to standards such as ISO 15288, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ASPICE, ISO/IEC 12207, or functional safety frameworks.
