The IS&T Retail Engineering Programs team is at the heart of innovating and delivering the critical technology that powers our global retail stores. We are a dynamic group responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of complex engineering initiatives that enhance both the customer experience and operational efficiency within our retail environment.
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cross-Functional Test Lead to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality of our retail solutions by taking full ownership of the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of processes for end-to-end integration testing.
This means you will not only define the comprehensive test strategy but also orchestrate its implementation across diverse systems for Stores Applications – from Point-of-Sale and inventory management to payment systems and customer-facing applications – ensuring they seamlessly integrate and perform flawlessly in a real-world retail setting.
Your efforts will directly impact the reliability and success of our in-store technology, directly contributing to our customer and employee satisfaction.
- In this role you will ensure the flawless operation of our retail systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Define, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive QA standards, guidelines, and best practices for all retail engineering projects.
- Actively participate in and drive the development and execution of robust test processes, strategies, and detailed test plans for all retail software and hardware initiatives.
- Define and enhance a strategic roadmap for test automation.
- Ensure that comprehensive test plans are integrated into the overall project schedule, enabling the consistent delivery of high-quality product releases that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Bachelor Degree in CS or equivalent work experience performing Web manual and automation testing.
- Expertise in designing and developing test automation frameworks using language like Java and Selenium or Playwright and Typescript.
- Strong experience performing API testing.
- Experience leading a team as a QA lead.
- Expertise in retail technology with a deep understanding of in-store operations
- Experience with Mobile Applications testing
- Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally.
