We are looking for a Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to join the team and contribute to a variety of products and projects that include application designing, application development and integrations with our Asset management, Mobile DeviceManagement (MDM) and software distribution services. Asset Management, Mobile Device Management (MDM),and Software Signing &Distribution play a critical role in keeping devices secure, properly managed, and equipped with the right tools for Apple employees. These services are essential in helping us deliver a seamless user experience that meets the high expectations of our company’s workforce. Our goal is to make the technology invisible so that everyone can focus on doing the work they love to do at the best of their ability.
As the demand for our Asset Management, Corporate MDM and Software Signing & Distribution services continues to grow rapidly, we are building a team capable of serving Apple’s needs at a global scale. We handle very large numbers of devices(macOS, iOS, and tvOS) and support a wide variety of business units with unique needs that these services — including new opportunities to grow through the use of AI tools.
As an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) on the Device Experience & Engineering team, you’ll drive cross-functional initiatives that deliver reliable, secure, and scalable device management solutions across Apple’s hardware and software ecosystem. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, design, and operation steams to ensure projects are well-defined, efficiently executed, and successfully delivered.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a technical, fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex coordination challenges, and is passionate about enabling teams to deliver high-quality device management experiences.
- Program Execution Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery of device management features, tools, and infrastructure by setting clear program parameters and managing risks, dependencies, and communication for timely execution.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with engineering, product, UX, and operations to translate requirements into actionable plans, facilitate development cycles, and serve as the central communication hub for program updates.
- Technical & Operational Excellence: Understand system architectures and dependencies to support quality build and deployment readiness, while driving improvements in process efficiency and program transparency.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate across levels, balancing competing priorities and providing clarity, while tracking and reporting key program metrics and outcomes.
- Experience in program or project management within a technical domain(e.g.,software, hardware, infrastructure, or device management).
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional programs with multiple stake-holders.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, orKanban).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with device management
- Proficiency in project management tools
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus
