Our SAP team is part of the global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organisation. We build systems that support customer ordering, fulfilment and service of Apple products. We work with multiple business functions including Retail, Operations, Finance and AppleCare.
Apple is seeking a SAP Supply Chain Planning Support Analyst to join our global SAP Support team, providing comprehensive production support across Apple's complex enterprise landscape. This role encompasses SAP APO GATP, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP), and integrated supply chain planning processes.
This person would be a key regional IS&T representative with our business partners in EMEIA, focusing on advanced planning and scheduling optimization.
The successful candidate will work closely across business and technical teams delivering sophisticated supply chain planning projects in Apple's fast-paced environment. This includes being a key driver of demand planning, supply planning, and capacity optimization for new product launches in Apple's supply chain. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of planning support, including:
- Provide support for SAP APO GATP, PP/DS, IBP and aATP production issues
- Support demand planning, supply planning, and sales & operations planning (S&OP)processes in IBP
- Troubleshoot production planning optimization, capacity leveling, and detailed scheduling algorithms
- Perform root cause analysis for planning-related recurring issues and implement permanent fixes
- Coordinate with Apple partners and external support teams for planning system integrations
- Support Available-to-Promise (ATP) and Capable-to-Promise (CTP) functionality and rule configurations
- Troubleshoot demand sensing, statistical forecasting, and consensus planning processes
- Plan and engage with worldwide Apple teams on Apple events like iPhone launch or Mac launch (WWDC) for capacity and supply planning
- Support inventory optimization, safety stock planning, and replenishment strategies
- SAP APO GATP, PP/DS and/or IBP** with production support experience
- Knowledge of SAP transport management and change control processes for planning systems
- Experience with demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP processes
- Strong incident management and escalation procedures knowledge for planning-critical issues
- SAP APO GATP, PP/DS and/or IBP certifications highly preferred**
- Experience with SAP IBP for demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP planning
- Advanced aATP configuration and rule-based promising experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded planning and IBP integration
- Experience with machine learning and AI-driven planning capabilities in IBP
- ABAP debugging and troubleshooting skills for planning-related custom developments
