Ardmac Group is evolving its people and payroll infrastructure to support a growing, multi-jurisdictional business. With operations across Ireland, the UK, and the EU, the Group is focused on building scalable, compliant, and employee-focused payroll and reward processes, supported by improved systems, data, and reporting.

 

We are now seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits / Payroll Lead to take ownership of payroll delivery and reward administration across the Group. This role will be central to ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience, while driving improvements in reporting, benchmarking, and process efficiency.


Job purpose

 

  • To support the HR team to deliver an effective payroll/comp and ben service offering across the business, which helps enable the delivery of the company’s strategic goals. 


Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Administration of weekly payrolls (Ireland and UK)
  • Administration of monthly payrolls (Ireland, UK and EU) tracking
  • Administration of EU payrolls (Mainland EU)
  • Weekly payroll sign off (Ireland & UK)
  • Bi-weekly payroll sign off (EU)
  • Processing of monthly payrolls (Ireland and UK)
  • Payroll related items such as:
    • Administration of pensions for payroll (Ireland and UK)
    • Absence Management
    • HRIS (Bamboo) updates with all pay related information
    • Updating and maintaining Payroll software (Miracle Pay)
    • Pay/Promotion Letters, Salary Surveys, Salary Certs
  • Reporting
    • CSO Reporting quarterly
  • Reviewing national and international salary benchmarking
  • A1 applications for posted workers
  • Social security applications support when needed


Qualifications and experience

 

Qualifications:

  • IPASS - CPT Minimum
  • IPASS - Professional Payroll Manager an advantage
  • HR Qualification an advantage

 

Ability and knowledge of:

  • HR administrative processes
  • Processing and Administration of Payroll Ireland/UK
  • Administration of EU payrolls is advantageous but not essential
  • HR information systems (HRIS)

  • Clear and pragmatic communicator, able to explain complex payroll or benefits topics
  • Collaborative partner who builds strong relationships with HR, Finance, managers, and external providers
  • Continuous improvement focused, with an interest in streamlining processes and improving controls
  • Service-oriented mindset, with a genuine desire to deliver a positive employee experience


The position is a one-year fixed term contract.
