About the Job:

We are currently seeking a Construction Manager for a life sciences project in the Limerick area. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, programming, and execution of construction projects. They will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Cleanroom, cold room or white wall fit out construction experience is essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and program work efficiently
  • Act as effective liaison between site team and senior project management team
  • Adhere to Safety First Guiding Principles
  • Ensure each contract is properly planned and programmed
  • Implement production and commercial procedures across all projects
  • Ensure the implementation of all company safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures, maintaining statutory compliance across all projects
  • Develop contract programs with the Site Manager, ensuring necessary resources are in place and establishing the sequence and timing of operations for work completion


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management.
  • Proven experience in planning, programming, and executing construction projects
  • Background in fit out / interiors project in cleanroom / cold room / white wall installation environments essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional certifications in project management or construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, contract law, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
