Practice Education Coordinator

The Practice Educator Coordinator is responsible for negotiating and arranging work placements which meet the practice learning requirements for students undertaking the BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in the ATU Letterkenny Campus. This includes responsibility for the assessment of potential placement sites. The Coordinator acts as liaison between ATU and work placement sites to interpret and match the needs of students to agencies in order that work placement requirements and learning experiences are met. The Coordinator is responsible for securing work placements, facilitating liaison, communication and agreement requirements. They will also be responsible for problem solving and maintaining positive working relationships with a variety of contacts and agencies both internally and externally with ATU.
