We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our Commercial Finance Team. As a Financial Analyst II at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in conducting in-depth financial analysis, providing actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation. The Commercial Finance team partner some of the leading Pharmaceutical companies in the world in a role were they review and influence major projects across Proposals, Contracts, Business Development & Commercial Affairs.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading the preparation and analysis of complex financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Performing detailed variance analysis and trend identification to assess financial performance and highlight key drivers influencing results.
- Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Support Commercial Finance team in establishing and maintaining Commercial Finance control and accountability across the IPH division
- Support commercial finance team in working with our strategic alliance clients to construct and negotiate enterprise level commercial terms tailored to meet their individual needs
- Partnering with business units and senior management to provide financial guidance, recommendations, and support for strategic initiatives.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Profile:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and/or Bachelorâs degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software a plus.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex financial information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
