
Marketing Consultant (Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover)

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Consultant to support our Dublin Marketing team during a maternity leave period. Working closely with our Senior Marketing Executive, you’ll help deliver a wide range of marketing activities across events, campaigns, digital, PR and sponsorships.
This role is ideal for a motivated, collaborative marketer with broad experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to high‑quality execution as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Delivery & Collaboration
- Support the delivery of marketing activity across campaigns, events, digital channels, PR and sponsorships.
- Take ownership of day‑to‑day tasks to ensure continuity and smooth delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams in Dublin and international colleagues.
Events & Sponsorship Activation
- Assist with the planning and delivery of flagship events, including venue coordination, supplier management and materials.
- Support sponsorship activations (e.g., Leinster Rugby, Tennis Ireland) including content, merchandise, matchday needs and social activity.
Campaigns & CRM
- Support the development and rollout of multi‑channel campaigns across email, web, social and paid.
- Prepare campaign briefs and content and help manage timelines.
- Manage CRM lists, workflows, segmentation and reporting (Dynamics experience an advantage).
Digital & Social Media
- Support day‑to‑day management of social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X).
- Draft social copy, coordinate graphics, schedule posts and monitor performance.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines; basic design capability (e.g., Canva) helpful.
PR, Content & Communications
- Liaise with our PR agency and global PR team on press releases and commentary.
- Support content uploads to the website, internal channels and campaign assets.
- Contribute to sharing and localising global thought leadership.
Brand, Design & Merchandise
- Coordinate design requests with internal or external designers.
- Support production of brand assets, event materials and merchandise.
- Manage stock and prepare event kits as required.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ broad marketing experience across events, digital, campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Experience working in small teams or paired structures.
- Confident drafting copy and coordinating content and design elements.
- Social media management experience (LinkedIn essential).
- CRM and email marketing experience (Dynamics desirable).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
