Beechfield Care Group are currently looking to recruit Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Woodlands House Nursing Home, Dillons Land, Trim Road, Navan C15 V585.


This is a part time role, 30hrs weekly, 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday schedule.

About Beechfield Manor

Woodlands house was built in 1917 in the Georgian style and was used to serve the needs of the local Church Of Ireland Clergy as a Rectory for the Canon. The building has operated as a Nursing Home since the early 1980’s and major refurbishment was completed in 2017 and now provides 24 hour nursing care for 36 residents in Single and Double ensuit rooms. For rest and relaxation Woodlands House provides a range of day rooms including Dining rooms, Lounges a sun room and a general activities room available for residents and their relatives to celebrate special events. An internal secure and sunny courtyard provides a nice outdoor sitting area. 


About the role:

The Clinical Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to provide a consistently strong standard of care to our residents. The post holder must be enthusiastic, motivated, committed to resident focused care. The Clinical Nurse Manager will assume responsibility for the day-to-day clinical management of the nursing home, while co-ordinating the care and activities of the residents. Quality of care, being mindful of HIQA regulations, is the fundamental aspect of this role.

 

Role responsibilities:

Ø Quality of Care Responsibilities

Ø Day to day supervision of the care and nursing staff

Ø Co-ordinate resident activities

Ø Work within HIQA regulations

 

Role requirements:

Ø Candidates must be registered with NMBI.

Ø Excellent Clinical, Leadership and Organisational skills

Ø Excellent communication and people skills.

Ø Sound decision making ability.

Ø Experience in care of the elderly.
