
Community Home Care Nurse - D.15 Area

Description
An opportunity for Registered Nurses to provide safe, quality care to an adult within a home setting in Clonee County Meath (Close to D.15)
Location: Clonee, Co. Meath - close to Dublin 15 area
Shift time: 08:00 – 12:00 (minimum 4-hour shift)
Availability: Monday – Sunday; specific regular days to be agreed
Employment: Part-time or full-time, permanent
Support: Supported by CNM2 and local clinical management team
Pay:
- Monday–Saturday: €30 per hour
- Sunday: €45 per hour
- Bank Holidays: €60 per hour
Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse include:
- Management of Neurogenic Bowel
- To ensure recognition of the person as an individual
- The prioritise the needs and comforts of the client and family
- Demonstrate kindness, compassion and patience
- General nursing care with ADL's
- Provide excellent evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client’s care plans based on the needs identified and review accordingly
- Maintain a high standard of infection control
- To safeguard the interest of the client at all times
Qualities:
- To be committed to the care and concern of client
- Ability to communicate effectively
- High degree of confidentiality
- Act as a liaison between the family and the care team
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and report writing skills
- Maintain a high standard of infection control for self and others
Qualifications & Experience:
- RGN on live register of NMBI
- Bowel Care (Training Can Also Be Provided)

What you will need:
- Current NMBI registration as an RGN
- Relevant experience in Bowel Care
- Strong clinical judgement, organisation and report writing
- Ability to work independently within a supported clinical framework
- Professionalism, confidentiality and a person-centred approach
- Driver and acces to own car
- Legal right to work in Ireland; sponsorship is not available
