We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Real Estate Fund Accounting Senior Specialist to join our Real Estate Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
  • Perform complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in areas such as driving service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, and specialist review functions.
  • Provide input into methodologies and review the work of less experienced team members.
  • Offer guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations involving complex accounts or transactions. Resolve reconciliations for more complex or atypical transactions and review work of junior colleagues.
  • Draft reports for clients regarding the performance of complex funds and review draft reports completed by less experienced staff.
  • Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes.
  • Assist in evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on fund accounting practices.
  • Contribute to the achievement of related team objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
  • Fund Accounting background required.
  • Real Estate Fund exposure advantageous.
