We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Manager (Vice President) to join our Continuous Improvement, Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across Fund Accounting to standardize processes, reduce risk, and drive automation.
- Quickly assimilate knowledge from business partners and determine most appropriate automation route (BNY internal tools, SQL, Altreyx, PowerBI etc).
- Partner cross-functionally (Operations, Technology, Compliance, People Team) to identify opportunities and execute changes that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
- Use operational data to diagnose root causes, establish baselines, and track impact through well-defined KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Support audit and reviews by providing documentation and evidence of process improvements.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
- Report progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee, troubleshoot, and optimize self-service ETL (extract, transform, load) workflows used in Fund Accounting operations; apply basic coding/scripting to resolve exceptions, refine transformation rules, validate data lineage, and enhance throughput.
- Establish standards, controls, and best practices for ETL usage across teams.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations, or process improvement within financial services, ideally Fund Accounting
- Strong understanding of Ireland/EMEA Fund Operations environment preferrable.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools; ability to apply basic scripting to troubleshoot workflow logic and transformation rules.
- People leadership and change influence: experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving adoption; direct people management experience a plus.
