We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Market/Client Risk Management to join our Risk Management team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.

 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Review work of less experienced colleagues and provide guidance on complex tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with issuers, their legal counsel, and advisors to review transaction terms, ensuring compliance with BNY standards and managing potential risk areas while meeting client objectives.
  • Coordinate tasks with internal and external parties to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Mitigate risk by reviewing moderately complex client contracts, transactions, or processing tasks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and business procedures, and protecting and compensating BNY for services provided.
  • Work with clients, business units, and legal teams to resolve issues in line with client and business objectives.
  • Prepare and/or review required documents and market/shareholder notices.
  • Communicate with lawyers, advisors, and clients to resolve any structural or contractual issues.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to review, analyze, and/or structure transactions in compliance with applicable regulations and contracts.
  • Manage transaction processes and closing deals for assigned clients and/or transactions, contributing to team or area objectives.

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
