Concierge

The Salthill Hotel is seeking a professional, customer-focused Concierge to join our team. This is a dual-role position that combines exceptional guest service with hotel security responsibilities. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests while also helping to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

·        Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.

·        Assist guests with luggage, directions, local recommendations and general enquiries.

·        Monitor guest access and maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel.

·        Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel and grounds.

·        Respond appropriately to security incidents, emergencies and fire alarm activations.

·        Liaise with hotel management when required.

·        Ensure all security and health & safety procedures are followed.

·        Assist with guest requests and support other departments as required.

·        Maintain accurate incident and security logs.

Requirements

·        A valid Irish PSA Security License is essential.

·        Previous experience in hospitality, concierge, hotel security or customer service is desirable.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Professional appearance and a courteous, approachable manner.

·        Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with challenging situations confidently.

·        Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

·        Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
