Finance Lead (Audit and Accounting), Grade VIII - Internal Advertisement Only

Purpose of the Role:

The post holder will work across CHI sites to lead the co-ordination the financial accounting function. They will be responsible for ensuring internal control checks are followed and maintaining timely and accurate accounting records to support the production of statutory reporting, the preparation of the annual accounts and to support decision making.

Essential Criteria:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 5 years of progressive experience in a relevant finance function
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (SAP experience advantageous).

· Experience and understanding of best practice in operations of Transactions Depts, to include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control depts.

· Experience of managing a finance team

· Possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of management ability for the proper discharge of the office

  • Knowledge of relevant tax regulations including VAT, PSWT, RCT, tax clearance requirements
  • Proven ability to lead and manage change, automation and process improvements
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively and collegiately with colleagues in Finance and across CHI.
