Responsibilities
Position Overview:
A senior leadership position responsible for providing strategic support to the Hedge Fund Line of Business Head and senior leadership team, to ensure effective execution of LoB strategic initiatives and collaboration across the organization. This position reports directly to the HF LoB Head and requires close collaboration with senior leadership team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution
- Drive accountability for implementation of key HF strategic initiatives, ensuring owners of tasks execute on their commitments and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project tracking and reporting mechanisms, optimizing use of data and AI
- Prepare executive-level reports on initiative progress and proactively identify opportunities for storytelling in HF
- Take lead role in the coordination of LoB strategy planning and Book of Change initiatives
Cross-functional Leadership & Communication
- Coordinate with stakeholders across LoBs and functions, ensuring proactive HF representation exists across cross-functional working groups
- Drive collaboration between hedge fund division and enterprise-wide initiatives, particularly BoC initiatives. Manage key stakeholder relationships and meeting cadence
- Oversee internal and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment of messaging across the organization
- Oversee creation and distribution of thought leadership content for hedge fund clients
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across teams
External Client Engagement
- Support HF LoB Head in managing strategic client relationships and executive-level interactions
- Coordinate LoB input to preparation of client pitch materials and presentations for new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain client communication frameworks for consistent information sharing
- Monitor and analyze client satisfaction metrics to drive service improvements
Operational Excellence
- Optimize HF leadership team ways of working effectiveness, streamlining decision-making processes and Implementing data-driven operational improvements
- Coordinate and prepare materials for HFLT meetings, offsites, managing agendas and follow-ups. Play a facilitation role during these meetings.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for operational efficiency in HF LoB.
Strategic Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to the HF LoB Head and senior leadership team, providing strategic insights and recommendations on business initiatives
- Gather and synthesize external market intelligence and internal Citco insights to inform strategic priorities
- Leverage data analytics and AI tools to generate actionable business insights and support decision-making
Qualifications
About You:
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience: Degree preferred with 15+ years of financial services experience, including substantial exposure to hedge fund operations and fund administration
Strategic Leadership: Proven track record in leadership roles, with demonstrated ability to develop forward-looking business plans
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of hedge fund operations, data analytics, and AI applications in business, combined with market awareness and industry knowledge
Project & Program Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives, with strong track record of delivering results through matrix management
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence at senior leadership level and manage complex stakeholder relationships
Business Acumen: Advanced problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking, with strong focus on operational excellence and risk management
People Leadership: Track record of building high-performing teams, fostering inclusive culture, and developing talent
