Job Description

IT Senior Project Manager 

Your Role: 

As a Senior Project Manager at Citco, you will be responsible for managing complex IT projects in a fast-paced financial institution environment. Your primary focus will be on initiatives within Oracle Fusion/finance IT, ensuring successful delivery of project deliverables within the constraints of schedule, scope, and budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, and business units. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical specialists to drive value delivery and ensure project outcomes maximise business benefits

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts, including project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and software artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint. 

  • Strong expertise in developing and presenting strategic reports that effectively communicate project performance, risks, and business value to senior stakeholders. 

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all levels, from senior management to project team members. 

  • Manage vendor deliverables, timelines, and quality while ensuring compliance with Citco's standards and procedures, including contract management and costing. 

  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and provide status updates to key stakeholders. 

  • Prioritize activities, address risks/issues, and manage technical resources efficiently across Finance and HR departments within Group IT. 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and establish administrative process improvements, fostering team collaboration and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and team engagement. 

  • Build a collaborative and productive team environment, driving accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines. 

  • Anticipate and address potential impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking. 

 

About You 

  • 5+ years managing complex IT projects, focusing on development in financial institutions. 

  • Bachelor’s in computer sciences, Information Systems, or equivalent 

  • Project management certifications (PMP, Agile) preferred. 

  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project and other project management tools 

  • Expertise in IT project management, business analysis, and change management. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and motivate colleagues 

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
