POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

This position calls for a Microsoft / Linux Engineer with broad infrastructure and information technology expertise. Responsibilities include engineering and maintaining an enterprise class hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The position is within the IT security department and will be part of the internal CSIRT; position will be involved in Cyber Security incident investigations as needed.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS: 

This position is within the IT Security group, which is responsible for overseeing information security within Citco.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Active Directory and DNS, as well as skills necessary for Group Policy and Active Directory Security solutions.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain Active Directory design, Schema, OU design, AD replication topology, and DC backup/restore procedures.
• Assist Security Architects in the development, design, build, and deploy Cloud solutions in accordance with Security best practices.
• Assist in creating cloud-based infrastructure and programs including implementing identity and access management and configuring cloud environments securely.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security controls for various cloud infrastructure providers.
• Develop scripts and automation to scale and accelerate the implementation and audit of security configurations, risks, and assessments.
• Keeping cloud infrastructure current, making recommendations, and continually improving cloud security technologies.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
• Working with internal departments across the organization to continually improve cyber resilience.
• Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams for security tools, system environments, and cloud operations.
• Experience working with an enterprise class change management process to include ticket-oriented applications.
• Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an enterprise scale cloud security environments 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with both Linux and Windows environments
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows security
• Proficiency with scripting languages, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Excellent written communication skills in the creation of research, guidance, procedural, and support documentation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills working with team members and other support partners.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle multiple, complex, and competing priorities and projects in a high pressure and fast paced environment
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (Docker, Ansible, Terraform)
• Relevant certifications are required (RHCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security, MCSE)
