Your role at Clorox:
As a ServiceNow Developer at Clorox, you will help design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Employee Center Pro, and related integrations to deliver intuitive, reliable HR experiences for employees and HR partners.Working as part of the People (HR) Product Team, you will support translating business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions by implementing well defined configurations and assisting more senior developers with complex changes. You will partner with HR, IT, and integration teams to streamline HR workflows and data flow between ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise systems.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and refine user stories, focusing on implementing clearly defined technical designs for HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and related capabilities under guidance from senior team members.
- Configure HRSD (case management, lifecycle events, knowledge, and HR services) and Employee Center Pro experiences, including catalog items, topics, taxonomy, and portal components, following established patterns and standards.
- Implement high‑quality configurations (e.g., Flow Designer flows, UI policies, client scripts, basic business rules) that support performance and maintainable HR workflows, with code reviews and coaching from more experienced developers.
Testing, quality, and operations
- Perform unit testing for your changes and support UAT by fixing defects and updating configuration based on feedback.
- Document technical changes, configurations, and run‑books for the work you deliver to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing across the product team.
- Help monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve straightforward incidents and defects related to HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and integrations, escalating complex issues to mid‑level and senior developers.
Integrations and automation
- Support integrations between ServiceNow and Workday (and other HR/enterprise systems) by configuring data sources, transform maps, and Integration Hub spokes as directed.
- Work with integration and data teams to understand secure, resilient integration architectures and apply them when implementing or updating integration‑related stories.
- Identify obvious opportunities to automate manual HR tasks and assist in implementing end‑to‑end workflows and orchestration that improve employee and HR productivity.
Continuous improvement and governance
- Learn and stay current on ServiceNow releases, HRSD and Employee Center Pro capabilities, and platform leading practices; apply them to your work with guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in agile ceremonies within the HR Product Team (e.g., backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) and contribute to platform standards and reusable patterns by following and reinforcing them in your deliverables.
- Support a user‑centric mindset by incorporating analytics, feedback, and design input shared by the team to iteratively improve HR experiences across the portal, mobile, and other channels.
What we look for:
- 1–2 years of hands‑on ServiceNow experience (admin or developer).
- Comfortable creating basic record producers, workflows/Flow Designer flows, assignment group changes, UI policies, and short Journeys.
- Able to follow established patterns and standards, ask for guidance on design, and write simple client/server scripts (with review).
