Laboratory Administrator

Founded in 1994, Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) is the highest accredited contract laboratory in Ireland, providing industry-leading sampling and analysis, as well as fully trained micro and analytical analysts on contract to clients in the food, environmental, medical device, biopharmaceutical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

The Role

The Lab Administrator plays a key role in supporting laboratory operations by ensuring accurate sample registration, data management, and reporting. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a professional approach to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Logging samples into the LIMS system accurately and efficiently

Data entry of test results

Creating and issuing test reports

Labelling samples and completing all relevant documentation

Reconciling samples to ensure traceability and accuracy

Managing the outsourcing of subcontracted testing

Acting as a point of contact for customers in a courteous and professional manner

Receiving samples and deliveries, including answering the door

Who You Are

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working with data and systems (e.g., LIMS)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional and customer-focused approach

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

A team player with a flexible attitude

Where You Come From

Previous experience in an administrative or laboratory support role is desirable

Experience working with LIMS or similar systems is an advantage

A background in a scientific, laboratory, or regulated environment is beneficial but not essential
