About The Role
Definition:
The Process Engineer will work closely with the Design Manager and the Process Engineering Team to enhance Coffey Water’s water and wastewater process capabilities. They will provide valuable input into the development of design solutions for water and wastewater treatment, including conceptual and detailed designs, and troubleshooting / optimising existing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Design Team in ensuring all process designs are in accordance with the appropriate specifications / standards, providing robust solutions for our clients
- Project input will span from concept, through design and on to construction, commissioning and operation
- Key responsibilities will include developing process flow diagrams (PFD), mass / energy balance tables, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), process descriptions and equipment specifications
- Preparing schedules and cost estimates, maintaining a commercial focus at all times
About You
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) or equivalent experience
- Proven technical knowledge of process engineering and control
- Detailed understanding of Irish Water engineering standards and specifications, e.g. Disinfection Specification, or ability to quickly build understanding
- Experience with process design, including modeling (e.g. hydraulic modeling, CFD), is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work efficiently, whether on their own or in a team environment
- Good organisational skills and report writing experience
