Salary: R33 000 - R37 000 per month plus uncapped commission.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SDR to join us at a time of rapid growth at Cognisys.

We are hiring Enterprise SDR’s to support our growth across EMEA and North America. This role is specifically focused on enterprise-level prospecting, engaging large, complex organisations and creating qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.

You will work strategic target accounts, book meetings with senior decision-makers, and help build a pipeline across some of the most valuable opportunities in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified enterprise-level meetings for Account Executives across EMEA and North America

  • Prospect into large, complex organisations using a multi-channel approach (cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and social selling)

  • Execute strategic, multi-threaded outbound campaigns across target accounts

  • Build and develop enterprise accounts in partnership with Account Executives

  • Identify, engage, and qualify opportunities, ensuring a smooth handover into the sales process

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly meeting booking and pipeline generation targets

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting

  • Engage senior decision-makers including CISO, CIO, CTO, IT Directors, and leaders across Security, Risk, and Compliance

Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in an SDR or BDR role

  • Experience in enterprise cybersecurity or SaaS environments preferred

  • Proven ability to prospect into or sell to enterprise-level accounts

  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Strong phone presence with a proactive outbound mindset

  • Resilient, ambitious, and target-driven approach

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organised with a process-driven way of working

  • Clear ambition to progress into an Account Executive (AE) role

  • Experience selling penetration testing, managed security services, or compliance consulting is highly desirable

  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the Rosebank office)

  • Flexibility to support international markets across EMEA and North America, including collaboration with US time zones
