Assistant Professor in Science Education (Primary)

Role Profile
The successful individual will have a strong academic background in science education with particular expertise in primary science education and will join a dynamic team supporting initial teacher education programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The candidate will have expertise in current innovative pedagogies in science at primary level and familiarity with recent and emerging trends in Irish primary education and STEM education.

Salary Scale:
Assistant Professor (Below Bar): €48,940- €66,558
Assistant Professor (Above Bar): €64,583 - €103,501 (A PhD is required for this scale)
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
