Role Profile
The School is seeking to appoint an Assistant /Associate Professor in Physiotherapy on a permanent basis.
The appointee will be expected to lead high impact research and innovative teaching within the School of Health and Human Performance, with a primary focus on advancing physiotherapy practice and integrated care for health across the life course; specifically related to chronic disease management, age related care or disability and rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with colleagues in the School, wider University, nationally and internationally to provide academic research leadership to develop a programme of research in health and rehabilitation across the life course.
The appointee will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development across the School of Health and Human Performance, and in particular on the MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration programme). The appointee will be expected to carry out duties such as delivery of theoretical and practical modular content, provide student mentoring and support, supervision of student projects, collaborate on delivery of existing (and development of future) programmes within the School, and contribute to administrative activities in the School.
The post is based on the Glasnevin Campus of Dublin City University, and the appointee will report directly to the Head of School.

Salary Scale:
● Assistant Professor Above Bar - €64,583.00 - €103,501.00
● Associate Professor Above Bar - €91,090.00 - €120,061.00
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
