Associate Professor in General Nursing (Simulation) Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position #003315 Associate Professor in General Nursing (Simulation), Permanent Contract Role Profile The School of Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health is seeking to recruit exceptionally qualified candidates at the level of Associate Professor in Nursing. The successful candidate will be recognised as a leader in their discipline, hold a reputation for academic excellence and have an extensive portfolio of internationally competitive research including high impact publications and funding successes. The appointee will be expected to provide leadership in the area of simulation through active engagement in teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and administration in the School, Faculty and University. The appointee will be expected to make outstanding contributions to the development of simulation in undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programmes through research-led teaching, student mentoring and support. The post holder will be expected to influence research and scholarship in nursing and contribute to advancing the school's research agenda, including building strong partnerships and collaborations with external health service providers. The post is based on the Glasnevin Campus and the candidate will report to the Head of School. Salary Scale: Associate Professor Above Bar - €91,090.00 - €120,061.00 Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
