Associate Professor in Psychology, Permanent Contract
Role Profile
We are seeking to recruit an Associate Professor in Psychology on a permanent contract who will report to the Head of School of Psychology. The successful candidate will have an excellent teaching portfolio, an already established independent research career and excellent track record commensurate with the grade of Associate Professor. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in open and online education and will contribute to contribute high-quality teaching and academic leadership in this field. The successful candidate will also lead an independent, high-quality research programme that complements the School’s strengths. Further, the successful candidate will contribute to programme leadership, placement supervision, research supervision and the external engagement activities of the School and University. Building positive relationships with professional support staff, technical and pedagogy specialists and engagement with key stakeholders within and outside of DCU is an important part of this role. This post provides an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role in the further development of the School’s success and national and international reputation.

Salary Scale:
Associate Professor - €91,090 - €120,061
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy
