INTRA Placement Manager Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position #003300 INTRA Placement Manager, 3 Year Fixed Term Contract Role Profile The University is seeking a highly driven and strategic DCU INTRA Placement Manager to lead and further enhance one of the longest-established placement teams in the Irish university sector. This is a management role for an individual with ambition, vision, and a strong commitment to excellence, who is motivated to deliver an outstanding, sector-leading placement experience for students, staff, employers, and academic colleagues.   They will lead and manage the INTRA function and team of employees within the placement area.  The scope of this role will provide a professional and comprehensive service to students while ensuring that DCU students have an appropriate and life enhancing INTRA placement experience.  The successful collaborator will report to the Director of Placement or nominee. They will support DCU Placement initiatives, represent the University at relevant events, and undertake other duties as assigned by the Director of Placement or their nominee. They will liaise and actively collaborate with administrative colleagues, Faculties, Schools, central support units, placement partners, and professional bodies. The role involves communication with multiple stakeholders including national organisations and Government Departments, the use of business systems, adherence to strict deadlines and simultaneous progression of multiple processes. The successful candidate will be located in DCU Placement on Glasnevin Campus, Dublin 9, but may require attendance on All Hallows or St Patrick’s Drumcondra occasionally. Salary Scale: Professional 6 - €64,341 - €91,656 Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
