Job Purpose
The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for managing the revenue performance of multiple hotel properties, ensuring that each achieves its commercial KPIs. This role drives strategic revenue management, optimises pricing and distribution channels, and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment with business objectives. By analysing market trends, demand patterns, and performance metrics, the Cluster Revenue Manager supports data-driven decision-making that maximises occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR across the portfolio.
Key Deliverables
Data Analysis
- Understand market trends, demand patterns, and competitor strategies.
- Monitor performance indicators including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and channel mix.
Revenue Strategies
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on demand and market conditions.
- Manage online and offline distribution channels to maximise booking performance.
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Produce accurate revenue forecasts using historical data, pacing trends, and market insights.
- Ensure budget alignment and adjust strategies when required to meet commercial targets.
Team Collaboration
- Align revenue management strategies with Sales and Marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure operational readiness supports revenue goals.
Training & Development
- Train the Reservations team on revenue best practices, tools, and processes.
- Maintain a continuous learning approach and stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Technology
- Leverage Revenue Management Systems (RMS) to automate pricing and inventory decisions.
- Use RMS insights to support data-driven strategies.
- Utilise CRM tools to understand guest behaviour and segmentation for targeted offers.
Performance Monitoring
- Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate strategy effectiveness.
- Adjust pricing, distribution, and forecasting strategies based on real-time data.
- Prepare clear, concise revenue reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
Relationship Management
- Engage with internal stakeholders including property managers and owners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and industry contacts.
Continuous Improvement
- Gather regular feedback from teams and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement enhancements to revenue strategies, processes, and distribution practices to support commercial growth.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Revenue Management or a similar commercial hospitality role.
- Experience managing or supporting multi-property revenue portfolios is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of dynamic pricing, forecasting, channel management, and market analysis.
- Proficiency with RMS, PMS, CRS, CRM systems, and channel manager platforms.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to translate insights into strategy.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
