At Deloitte Ireland, our Technology Consulting team is dedicated to delivering transformative digital projects within the financial services sector.

Joining us as a Junior Business Analyst offers you the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact solutions for a major banking client in Ireland. This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in Agile methodologies while working in a highly regulated environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful business change.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an Agile setting.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops, elicit and document business requirements, and support business acceptance testing.
  • Relevant third-level qualification; Business Analysis or Scrum certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in BA tools such as Jira, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong skills in analysing and documenting business processes, user and data functional requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of Agile project control methods and effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Supporting business analysis activities on transformation projects within a major financial services entity.
  • Assisting in requirements elicitation and backlog refinement through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • Creating and maintaining business deliverables including Process Maps, Business & Functional Requirements, User Stories, and User Acceptance Criteria.
  • Contributing to the preparation and maintenance of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Collaborating closely with developers, testers, and project teams to ensure solution delivery.
  • Conducting impact analysis for change requests and supporting business acceptance testing and readiness activities.
  • Maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Where is this role based?

This role is based in Dublin, with a flexible working model that includes a blend of office, client site 3 days per week, and hybrid working arrangements.
