At Deloitte Ireland, our team is dedicated to delivering transformative digital projects within the financial services sector. As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the successful implementation of complex banking initiatives in a highly regulated environment.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your project management expertise within Agile frameworks, engage with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to innovative digital solutions that shape the future of banking.

Key skills and prior experience

• Proven experience managing and delivering projects, with solid Agile delivery experience.
• End-to-end project lifecycle experience, from initiation through to deployment, preferably within the banking sector.
• Good understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience integrating new technologies and systems in a banking environment, with a passion for digital innovation.
• Strong financial management skills and the ability to make impactful project decisions.
• Proven problem-solving and issue management capabilities.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Recognised project management qualification, preferably PMI; PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are also acceptable with a strong understanding of the PMI framework.

• Supporting the delivery of transformative digital projects at a leading financial services entity.
• Assisting in managing stakeholder communications and ensuring high-quality client service.
• Supporting the definition of project objectives, creating action plans, and monitoring progress.
• Helping to devise solutions to complex project challenges.
• Contributing to Agile teams and supporting the embedding of Agile best practices.
• Assisting in scaling Agile delivery across projects and programmes.

Where is this role based?

This role is based in Dublin, with a flexible working model that includes a blend of office, client site 3 days per week, and hybrid working arrangements.
