Deloitte has an excellent opportunity to join our Professional Education team, which sits within our People & Purpose department. The team support our Associates across the firm who are completing their professional qualifications (approximately 800 people). This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution and success of our Associates, to our learning and performance culture, and the continued and future success of the firm.
This role would suit someone who has proven experience of working in a professional education/student affairs department, is motivated to succeed in a fast paced, innovative, collaborative environment, and is committed to delivering a first class service.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

  • Experience of working in a professional education/student affairs role and a 3rd level qualification in HR or Learning and Development, or another relevant discipline

  • Prior experience of the examination regimes of Chartered Accountants Ireland and /or the Irish Taxation Institute would be an advantage.

  • Proven experience of managing key stakeholders in large-scale projects.

  • Knowledge and experience of using virtual conferencing applications such as Zoom/Microsoft Teams is key to this role

  • Experience at balancing multiple priorities and maintaining attention to detail

  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels.

  • Strong programme management experience and ability to work independently to a high-level.

  • Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly.

  • Demonstrated use of MS applications (including Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, Word and PowerPoint) is critical to this role.

  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, problem solving and being a team player with strong business acumen.

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Coordinate all aspects of Professional Education including registration, exemptions, enrollment, attendance, continuous assessment, examinations, appeal and professional experience.

  • Design, schedule, and organise our internal education support programmes and advance other initiatives to maximise the success of Deloitte students and sustain our position as a Leader in Professional Education.

  • Liaise externally with professional education bodies such as Chartered Accountants Ireland, Irish Tax Institute, CIMA etc. in relation to student matters.

  • Build relationships with all key stakeholders across the firm and their HR Business Partners, providing guidance and responding to queries related to a variety of Professional Education topics.

  • Maintain all systems and databases to capture all relevant information and generate reports to support decision making.

  • Facilitate exam briefings with all student cohorts across Deloitte.

  • Support the wider learning and performance team and early careers team with our Deloitte Future Leaders Academy and Student Academy learning programmes.

Where is this role based?

  • This is a hybrid role with a requirement to occasionally attend and manage on-site events in the Dublin office.
