Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

  • Proven compliance or regulatory experience within Financial Services, including Payments, Fintech, Banking, Investments, or Insurance, gained in industry, advisory, law, or consulting roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of regulatory frameworks and Financial Regulator rules, including Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Conduct Risk, Market Abuse, and Risk Framework methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret and implement current and emerging regulations such as Fitness & Probity, Senior Executive Accountability, Conflict of Interest Management, and Governance Arrangements.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and influencing skills, combined with a proactive and self-motivated approach to working in a fast-paced environment.


What type of work will I be doing?

  • Providing technical expertise to assist clients in managing regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Supporting the development of new business opportunities and collaborating closely with senior management.
  • Interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements and guidance.
  • Assisting in the creation of Client Regulatory Strategies and Frameworks.
  • Developing compliance policies and procedures tailored to client needs.
  • Reviewing client documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting internal audit services focused on regulatory compliance.
  • Participating in secondments to client Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams.
  • Designing and delivering bespoke regulatory training programmes.
