The Institute of Art, Design + Technology (IADT) is entering a significant phase of strategic development and institutional growth. To support the delivery of its ambitious strategic plan and its long-term vision to become Ireland’s university for the creative industries, IADT is making a number of key senior appointments to its Executive and academic leadership team.

Odgers Berndtson has been exclusively retained to manage these appointments through a combination of executive search and open competition.

IADT is seeking exceptional candidates for the following roles:

Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CFOO)

A strategic leadership role with responsibility for financial planning, capital development, operations, governance, compliance, and institutional effectiveness, in line with public-sector and higher-education regulatory frameworks.

Vice President of Strategy and Public Affairs

A senior executive role leading institutional strategy development, public affairs, performance monitoring, and governance effectiveness, while acting as a trusted adviser to the President and Governing Body.

Dean of Research and Innovation

An institute-wide academic leadership role focused on building research capacity, securing competitive funding, and positioning IADT as a national and European leader in creative, applied, and interdisciplinary research.

Dean of Teaching, Learning and Assessment

A strategic academic leadership role shaping IADT’s future-facing educational model, driving pedagogical innovation, curriculum renewal, and assessment excellence across the Institute
