The Role
As a qualified Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will support the operation by ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of plant, production, and cleanroom-critical equipment. This is a hands-on technical role within a regulated environment, supporting both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Support compliance by maintaining equipment to required control standards.
- Escalate recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment
- Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, site procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct fire walks at the end of shift ensuring close down procedures are adhered to.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required
Skills & Experience
- Recognised trade qualification or relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- High attention to detail with strong safety awareness
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
Hours: 39 hours per week
