Evara is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to work along a great team, this is a role for ambitious engineer to be an integral part of a team
This role is a Full-Time position designed to provide hands-on experience while working under the guidance of the Site manager
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Snr Engineer, while providing support to the Support the Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure all engineering aspects of the project are successfully managed and delivered.
Good knowledge of apartment construction and infrastructure works.
Competent in setting out using a total station and GPS equipment for control points, gridlines, vertical and horizontal alignment, plus component and equipment positioning.
Competent in AutoCAD for drawing review, measuring and quantifying, highlighting and updating changes, and altering for as built records.
Recording, monitoring and recording of Materials Testing.
Knowledge of Uisce Eireann, Local Authority, ESB, Virgin and Eir document submissions.
Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, supervisors, planners, in house quantity surveyors in sharing information, reviewing and recording information.
Organising subcontractor works and 4-week lookahead programmes, reviewing RAMS before works progress.
Managing RFIs and Technical Submittals between Subcontractors and Design Team.
Familiar with BCAR process. Managing weekly INF register and ensure all inspections are up to date and closed out. Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.
Build strong relationships with the project team (Sub-contractors, Colleagues, and the Design Team) to identify risks and opportunities while maintaining strong communication.
Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained to the highest possible.
Temporary Works management.
Permit to Work System management.
The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Hold relevant construction/engineering qualification.
Practical and theoretical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental workings.
3+years as a site engineer with experience which includes enabling works, groundworks, site development works and quality control on large-scale apartment residential developments projects in a similar role.
Use of AutoCAD and a document control management system (Procore, Zutec) is essential.
Knowledge of the BCAR process specific to housing.
Uisce Eireann Safety File collating.
Ability to work on own initiative.
