Vice President, Internal Audit - EMEA

What does a successful VP of Audit do at Fiserv?

At Fiserv, a successful Internal Audit Vice President will guide and oversee various audit engagements and initiatives. You will leverage your extensive experience in auditing and leadership to provide strategic guidance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and business objectives.

What you will do:

• Execute a risk-based audit strategy aligned with Fiserv's business goals.
• Lead and manage the Internal Audit team, providing strategic oversight and guidance.
• Oversee complex audit engagements ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the audit planning process.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and control standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit processes and methodologies.
• Acts as an escalation point for complex issues and implement measures to remediate.
• Mentor and develop audit staff to promote professional growth.

What you will need to have:

• 12+ years of experience in audit with 5+ years leading audit teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent military experience.
• Demonstratable knowledge of Global Internal Auditing Standards and latest audit techniques.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and interact with cross-functional teams.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent certifications.

What would be great to have:

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Extensive experience in financial services or fintech industry.
• Knowledge of global laws, regulations, and standards, particularly in highly regulated environments.
• Experience leveraging data analytics within the audit function.
