BIM Graduate

Flynn is a first-generation construction company with operations across Ireland, UK and Northern Europe. We specialize in Critical Environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics.

We are currently seeking a talented BIM Graduate to work in our high-performance operations department in Dublin. This role will be working with commercial teams, contracts manager, clients, design teams and project directors.

Reporting to:  BIM Lead

Purpose of Role

Assist the BIM team in producing BIM content to meet the required standards and are to the clients’ satisfaction, whilst gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in BIM processes.

• Location: Based out of our Head Office in Glasnevin

Role Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D BIM models in line with specific project requirements.
• Ensure models align with standards and goals set in the BIM Execution Plan and BIM workflows.
• Collaborate internally and externally with other disciplines.
• Create BIM modelling content, including setting up additional Revit families and templates.
• Develop construction drawings and extract data.
• Maintain and administer the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Carry out checks on Revit models.
• Liaise with subcontractors and design teams to agree on objectives.

The Candidate

• Education/Qualifications: Degree in Building Information Modelling, graduating in Summer 2026 (Level 7/8) or a related Engineering/Architecture Undergraduate Degree (Level 7/8) preferable.
• Experience: Internship or work experience in a BIM field.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Some understanding of BIM procedures, protocols and data management software tools.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, eagerness to learn, a passion for digitalising common construction practices and a keen desire to influence the use of innovative technology within a business.
• Personal Attributes: Self-starter, exercises good judgement under pressure, patient, flexible.
• Some understanding of BIM procedures, protocols and data management software tools.
