Opportunity
What you'll do:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain a 1+ year roadmap balancing retailer coverage expansion, infrastructure modernization, cost optimization, and platform scalability
- Retailer Partnerships & API Advocacy: Maintain close relationships with key retailers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Instacart) to stay ahead of new API product launches and capabilities. Evaluate new offerings for strategic fit and advocate directly with retailers to influence their API roadmaps—ensuring new endpoints and data products meet the needs of Flywheel and our clients
- Data Quality: Own the product vision for automated, zero-touch data quality—defining SLAs, governance frameworks, and AI/ML automation requirements
- Provider & Cost Strategy: Own the multi-provider web scraping and API strategy, driving vendor risk reduction and cost optimization.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary product interface for Flywheel data sharing initiatives, client conversations, and senior leadership communications (MBRs, QBRs)
Who you are:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a data, platform, or infrastructure product role
- Proven ability to define and deliver complex data products in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder environments
- Commercially minded—comfortable with cost structures, vendor management, and ROI-driven prioritization
- Excellent communicator; able to produce executive-ready documents and independently manage senior stakeholder relationships
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts: APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS S3, Glue), and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience in retail media, e-commerce, or digital advertising data is a plus
