Learning and Development Administrator, HR, Dublin
Location: Dublin, Hybrid
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
The purpose of this role is to manage the administration and support the L&D Team in the co-ordination of the Focus Ireland Learning and Development programme.
What you will do:
Provide administrative support in planning, coordinating, and delivering the Focus Ireland Learning & Development (L&D) programme, including managing L&D records and evaluations.
Coordinate and co-deliver the quarterly Corporate Induction for new hires, ensuring all materials, logistics, and communications are in place.
Produce accurate L&D activity reports using agreed HR performance indicators and maintain reliable communication with trainers, facilities, learners, and external suppliers.
Liaise with internal training groups to support the rollout of training programmes, ensuring timely information sharing and accurate training records—particularly for Under 18 services.
Arrange and manage all logistics for L&D events, including booking trainers, venues, travel, accommodation, and facilities, and handle associated invoicing.
Act as a key point of contact for all learning and development matters, providing consistent and timely support to staff and managers.
Identify opportunities to improve L&D administrative processes and help implement enhancements to ensure efficiency and quality.
Support the coordination and delivery of the Focus Ireland Graduate Programme, including recruitment, induction, training, development, and ongoing support sessions.
Build and maintain links with third‑level institutions to support the Graduate Programme and strengthen pipelines for future talent.
Assist in developing and managing the Student Placement Programme, including internal communication strategies, programme procedures, and supporting managers with recruitment and supervision of students.
Work in line with Focus Ireland’s organisational objectives and values, remaining flexible to support operational needs, organisational change, and occasional work outside standard hours.
Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned, and maintain vigilance regarding Health, Safety, and Welfare risks, escalating concerns to the line manager or Health & Safety Representative.
What you will need:
Qualified L&D or HR Practitioner with a third level degree in L&D/HR or a related field
Some experience of working in a professional environment in an administrative capacity
Excellent IT/technical skills
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent organisation skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work as part of a team which shares a common goal.
Ability to use initiative and seek direction when appropriate
Ability to work well under pressure with excellent planning, to meet strict deadlines and targets
