Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: High Street, Dublin 8 (Hybrid Work)
Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the wider organisation with their talent acquisition needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting best-in-class candidates for vacancies across Focus Ireland’s support and services teams.
What You Will Do:
Partner with the People Manager to determine resource requirements within the agreed headcount.
Develop an understanding of Focus Ireland’s services and support teams to provide best practice recruitment support.
Manage end-to-end talent acquisition activities: writing job descriptions, advertising, sourcing, screening, preparing interview packs, conducting interviews, making offers, and sending regrets to candidates.
Creatively source active and passive high-quality talent. Work closely with the wider Talent Acquisition team to develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
Evaluate candidates’ skills and experiences to match core competencies with key hiring requirements; assess motivations and culture fit, ensuring candidates align with Focus Ireland’s values and ethos.
Ensure hiring is consistent with business goals and follows recruitment guidelines and processes to ensure compliance.
Create roadmaps and strategic recruitment plans for the organisation, focusing on succession and workforce planning.
Ensure a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates throughout the full recruitment life cycle.
Support the HR administration function to the highest possible standard to ensure quality and accuracy.
What You Will Need:
2-3 years of experience working in Recruitment Coordination or Talent Acquisition.
Relevant third-level qualification at degree level in HR.
Proven recruitment and HR administration experience, including talent acquisition and administration in a fast-paced environment across multiple regions or departments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player.
Ability to write clear and accurate reports, analyze data, and present confidently.
Ability to handle confidential information and work with integrity.
Ideally:
General knowledge or experience of working within an NGO or the homeless sector.
