General Operative

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our team at Fota Island Resort.

This position is Monday to Friday day shifts, with the occasional requirement to work weekends.

Responsibilities:

·        Assisting with refuse recycling

·        Receiving, checking and storing of stock deliveries when needed

·        Assisting with stock rotation

·        Maintaining and cleaning of Keg Rooms

·        Ensuring empty kegs and crates are wrapped and ready for collection

·        Maintaining and cleaning of Outside Loading Bay

·        Delivery of orders to all departments across the resort

·        Assisting with delivery and removal of furniture or other items from all departments as required

·        Assisting with any other adhoc duties as assigned by the management team

What we are looking for:

·        Clean Driver’s licence

·        Awareness of Waste Management desirable but not essential

Awareness of stock rotation and storage desirable (FIFI- First In, First Out)

·        Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·        Strong organisational and multitasking skills

·        Ability to adapt to hotel specific processes and procedures

·        Attention to detail
