An exciting opportunity to join a growing, high-performing retention team within Global Payments.
We’re looking for a commercially driven retention specialist who thrives on saving at-risk customers, overcoming objections, and turning cancellation requests into retained revenue.
This is a target-driven, sales-focused role where success is measured by your ability to retain customers, protect revenue, and influence outcomes.
This a hybrid role with a mix of 2 days from home and 3 days in the office based in Dublin's City Centre.
What Part Will You Play?
Own and convert inbound cancellation requests into retained business
Proactively contact customers to reduce churn and protect revenue
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to secure retention
Upsell and cross-sell to maximise customer lifetime value
Use objection handling and persuasion skills to influence customer decisions
Manage customer relationships through the full retention lifecycle
Maintain accurate CRM records and customer interactions
Stay up to date on products, pricing, and payments industry trends
Success in this role is measured on retention save rate, revenue saved, and KPI performance
Desired Skills and Experience·
1+ year experience in sales, retentions, or a target-driven environment
Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs and revenue targets
Strong objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills
Commercially aware with a focus on revenue and results
Resilient, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Strong communication and CRM/administration skills
